The song was released as the second British single from Memory Almost Full on 5 November 2007 and debuted a week later at #85 in the UK Singles Chart (see 2007 in British music).

The single package included a unique "cut out and make your own mobius strip" insert.

The song was used in promotions for the premiere of Private Practice on ABC in Fall 2007.

"She's Leaving Home" is a song, written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and released in 1967 on The Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. McCartney wrote and sang the verse and Lennon the chorus. This was one of a handful of songs of The Beatles in which the members did not play any instruments.

The newspaper story McCartney mentioned was from the front page of the Daily Mirror, about a girl named Melanie Coe. Although McCartney made up most of the content, Coe, who was 17 at the time claims that he got most of it right. Her parents wondered why she had left... "She has everything here." In real life, Melanie did not "meet a man from the motor trade", but instead a croupier, and left in the afternoon while her parents were at work. She was found ten days later because she had let slip where her boyfriend worked.[2]

In a 1984 interview with Playboy, he credited the title to Ringo Starr, who was noted for his malapropisms, which are credited as the source of other song titles (such as "A Hard Day's Night").

"P.S. I Love You" es una canción de la banda británica The Beatles, compuesta principalmente por Paul McCartney, y acreditada a Lennon/McCartney. Fue lanzada el 5 de octubre de 1962, como lado B del sencillo «Love Me Do». También fue incluida en su álbum debut Please Please Me. Más tarde fue incluida en el álbum recopilatorio Love Songs.

Escrita en 1961, mientras Paul McCartney estaba en Hamburgo, esta canción es a veces considerada como una dedicatoria a su entonces novia Dot Rhone. Sin embargo, McCartney niega esta historia; describe a "P.S. I Love You" como:

"Un tema basado en una carta (...) Era mía más o menos. No creo que John haya colaborado en ella. Hay ciertos temas que son más fáciles que otros para usar en una canción, y una carta es uno de ellos (...) No se basa en la realidad, ni la escribí a mi novia de Hamburgo, como algunas personas piensan."

Notice the tribute in the song to Paul ("every day, in every way, is getting better and better"). It's from The Beatles' song "Getting Better" - John's contribution to that song at the time was cynical and witty (his lyric was "it can't get no worse") but here he was sending a little message to Paul that Paul was right, life does just get keep getting better and better.

I see some people are arguing about McCartney's solo career.
