Part 2 of 4

Lennon is in the WNEW-FM studios with May Pang and DJ and interviewer Dennis Elsas, in New York City on September 28, 1974.

John Lennon spins his own "I Call Your Name" and shares the origin of the blue-beat middle eight.

"For those people who like to know where licks and things come from, which I do because I'm always nicking little things myself..."

He introduces ELO's "Showdown" calling it, "a beautiful combination of 'Heard it Through the Grapevine' by Marvin Gay, and 'Lightning Strikes' by Lou Christie... With a little 'Walrus' underneath." Spins tales of carousing with Harry Nilsson in L.A. while on a break from Yoko, and collaborating with Harry Nilsson while on a break from Phil Spector.
